You say you want a man....

One of my favorite poems that I really wanted to share with you. Let this poem reach into your body and soul and really get you thinking about how you view your life, and why you desire to be with that someone, if you do. Let God show you what love is, before you embark on a journey that has already been conquered

You say you want a man who won’t just run off and leave you
But God already told you that He would never leave you nor forsake you (Heb13:5)

You say you want a strong man, who would fight for you
But God already told you that the battle belongs to Him (1Sam 17:47)

You say you want a romantic man
But God gives you the sunrise every morning, flowers every spring and stars at night

You say you want a man who will write you love letters
God wrote all His loving words down so you will not forget

You say you want a man that will love you regardless
Well no on can separate you from the love of God! (Rom 8:38)

You say you want a man who will provide for you
But God already told you that He will supply all your needs (Phil 4:19)

You say you want someone who will protect you
But God already told you that He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge (Ps 91:4)

You say you want a rich man
Well the streets of heaven are paved with gold!

You say you want an honest man, who keeps all His promises
Well God is not a man that He should lie! (Num 23:19)

You say you want a man that would do any and everything for you
Well He gave you His only son, to die in your place (John 3:16)

You say you want a man who cares about you and all you go through
Well God says cast your burdens onto Him, for He cares for you (Ps 55:22)

You say you want a man who isn’t easily angered
Well God said that His anger is but for a moment, but His favour last a lifetime (Ps30:5)

You say you want a man that will love you even through your flaws
Well God said he knows every hair on your head… But he still loves you!(Mat 10:30)

You say you want a man that won’t treat you different in your old age
But God said that even to your grey hairs, He will carry you (Is 46:4)

Now someone please tell me why do we as Christian women sometimes forget that Jesus is the man that we been waiting on to come and sweep us off our feet! And that all we need and want lies in Him…lets never forget
