Tune IN and Tune OUT

Happy Tuesday Everyone :)

Tuesday is the day we explore entertainment. More accurately fun, clean entertainment. I am all about saving money, so it will more than likely be cheap and cheerful or require someone giving me cash back.

As of late, I have been visiting the library very often and whilst doing so avoiding late fees. This helps with saving money. It makes for great entertainment and I would encourage every and anyone to check out the library regardless of where you are on this planet if its possible.

CD's, books and DVD's are the primary things you can loan from the library. But this week, i found out that my county has access to a site where I can learn a new language for free, all I have to do is enter my library number. THAT EASY! In most cases you can even surf the internet at the library. There may be a time restriction, so that others may use the facility, but its still Free.
If you cannot find the book, CD or DVD you want at the library, you can always visit a thrift store (charity shop) they tend to be very cheap and reasonable. My favorite is the Goodwill store because I always find myself in the books section looking for reading books for either myself, my husband or my 7month old daughter. My latest purchase was the "Left Behind" Series. I got all 12 books for around $30, when one book normally retails at $12.99 or so.

The third place to look is a garge sale or a craigslist type website. Specific books may not be found, but you may find another type of bargain in the mean time :)

When all else fails to find a cheap deal, go online and see if you can bid on Ebay or buy it at a discount on Amazon for example. There are other websites you can find books on, so do not be disheartened. I just use this as a last resort because I hate to pay for shipping and I, more than likely, will not be spending $25 to qualify for free shipping. Prior to checking out surf the net for a coupon code if applicable to the site you are on. You can't lose with a coupon code.

Otherwise just visit your local bookstore. Make sure you go online and see if a coupon is available on their website or another website so you can receive an in store discount. Never under-estimate the power of a coupon. I have learned this in 2010.

In this section, I will be sharing the books, CD's and DVD I have read, listened to and watched. Hoping to inspire you to chilax once and a while.

If you have a suggestion, feel free to share.
