I've used this before and I CAN honestly tell you that this is legit. From this website you are able to purchase gift certificates for restaurants in your city or town as they are listed on their database. You have to spend a certain amount at the restaurant, but then when you use your gift certificate, your total comes down to approx. $12 dollars or so.
For example, a few friends and I went to an Ethiopian restaurant and spent $40. My $25 gift certificate required that I spend $35 to receive my discount. Well we ended up paying $15 out of pocket for the 3 of us and that was including drinks and tip.
Makes for a great gift, date night or girly trip..or whatever the celebration.
